Back in 2001 instead of going to India to 'find myself' I went to NYC for ten days. I was depressed and alone attempting to get over a lover and reconnect with a school friend. I got drunk, hung out and made great new friends. I came home filled with a passion for life, love and an energy I had known before but had forgotten. My full time photographic journey more or less began then.

It's true to say that travel broadens the mind but we also need to get to know each others cultures and behaviours for a better understanding of lifestyles, religious beliefs and our own relationships.
