During the 1st lockdown I felt the need to touch base with my community in Stoneybatter, Dublin. So I came up with the idea of photographing everyone on their doorstep, families, housemates, the elderly... none of us had ever spent so much time together living in each others pockets 24/7. This gave me the opportunity to meet the whole community and to chat at a safe 2 meter distance to see how people were coping in this trying time. I photographed pregnancies, newborns, kids, dogs, goldfish, 1st birthdays & so much more. It became Stoneybatterdoorbydoor on Instagram. 350 families were photographed over 13 months with my amazing Art Director Karen Timberbelle without whom I wouldn't have completed it.

This gave birth to Dublindoorbydoor. I decided to continue to shoot family portraits in Dublin city & the greater Dublin area at weekends. I hop on my motorcycle (prudence) and shoot Dublin Families on their doorsteps for €75 euros. Each family get an 8X12in print and 3 6x4in prints of the same image.
